Understanding the current trends, and advancements in the healthcare career fields will be the focus of this teacher externship! In this professional development event, educators will have the opportunity to learn firsthand information from healthcare experts about highly needed careers in the nation as well as local opportunities that are growing rapidly. Christ Hospital will be the setting with guest speakers to lead the day by showcasing their career journeys, skills needed in healthcare, how to connect learning with career interests, and above all helping educators experience real world learning in healthcare advancements. The learning will all take place at Christ Hospital, main campus location. Lunch/fun will be provided.
Educators will be provided with 6 contact hours for their licensure needs as well as be able to purchase a credit from our Ashland University connection. This is an opportunity to expand your knowledge of Ohio’s new requirements for work-based learning.
